Ownership & business · Shareholder deadlock

The company still needs decisions. The shareholders cannot make them together.

Deadlock freezes strategy, funding and appointments. A Neutral adds an independent layer without taking the authority that belongs to the shareholders, the board or a court.

§ 01What it looks like

Recognise it early. The earliest moment is the cheapest.

Small, and easy to explain away.

What is at stake

What waiting can cost

Usually more than the original issue.

  • Employees, lenders and customers

§ 02The Neutral route

Usually: Neutral Evaluation.

Start with what the owners need: an independent view, a negotiated way forward, or a fairly run meeting.

Human checkpoint. Guidance, not legal advice. You choose the role; the Neutral discloses conflicts and accepts a mandate before any file is shared.
