Professional Biography

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Advisor with approximately seven years of experience in

the Federal Government and 20 years of combined experience in conflict resolution in the public

sector plus over a decade as an arbitrator, mediator, and advisor. As an arbitrator for five years,

I intervened in 30 unemployment compensation hearings per week. Served as a mediator in

over 3000 cases in civil and criminal disputes where 95% of the cases resulted in agreement

between the parties. For almost seven years, I have supported the Emergency Management

workforce as an ADR Advisor for FEMA, serving at a variety of stages of disaster operations.

Proven knowledge directing and coordinating mediation process, conflict coaching, team

building, delivering training and briefings, preparing agreements and contracts. Experienced

scientific and legal researcher, critical thinker, negotiator, and peacemaker with excellent

communication skills; dedicated and result oriented professional.
