Mikael Wahlgren is the owner and founder of the law consultancy firm Linton and Wahlgren AB. He has more than 25 years extensive experience and knowledge of, amongst others, managing arbitrations, disputes and has during the past years acted as an arbitrator and mediator. During my 10 years as General Counsel for the Alfa Laval Group and 15 years as in-house counsel, supporting a number of multinational Swedish and foreign listed companies (i.e. Skanska, ABB, Rolls-Royce and NCC) and in my current role as independent legal counsel, he consider himself to be suitable as an industrial specialist arbitrator and mediator. Mr Wahlgren has, in his capacity as General Counsel, In-house Counsel and independent Senior legal counsel, acted as an independent arbitrator and mediator, been responsible for handling, managing and defending his employers’ position as plaintiffs or defendants in various disputes as well as supervising and appointing external counsels both in domestic and international arbitrations and alternative dispute resolutions.
