Does the advisor represent us?
No. The advisor is a neutral. In any matter with a counterparty, the same independence and disclosure rules apply as in any other appointment.
What if the advisor is conflicted on a matter?
Another bench member is appointed under the same terms; the retainer covers the replacement.
Can we cancel?
At each anniversary, on 60 days’ notice.
