Mr Kishan is a strong believer in mediation as he advocates that the primary duty of a lawyer is to solve the disputes that would benefit both parties and he has been advocating this for many years.
Mr. Pratap Kishan is a volunteer lawyer with the Jamiyah Legal Clinic rendering legal advice to needy members of society. Mr. Pratap Kishan also volunteers with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme with the Law Society of Singapore for the lesser privileged members of society for criminal cases and on the Assigned Defence Counsel list for capital (death penalty) cases in the High Court.
