Is a Barrister and Arbitrator specialized in International Dispute Settlement and International Commercial Arbitration who founded the first Arbitration Chambers in Mauritius. He has 28 years’ experience in the legal sector as prosecuting Counsel, State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Office, Senior Presiding Magistrate in the Judiciary and 8 years as arbitrator As Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
He was empaneled with the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) as Arbitrator and Adjudicator. He was also empaneled with the Kigali International Arbitration Centre “KIAC” as International Arbitrator in 2016. He is an Fellow alumni of the prestigious Singapore Arbitration Academy since 2014, of the Paris Arbitration Academy since 2016, of the The Hague Academy in Private International Law since 2017 and of The Dubai Academy of Law since 2018.
He has been appointed as Fellow (FAIADR) of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Malaysia in 2018 and has been elected twice to serve as Secretary to the CIArb (Mauritius Branch) for the year 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
