Jamina’s core expertise is in Intellectual property matters, cyber and data protection law, technology, property law and corporate commercial litigation law, with added experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She has also been involved in various family and employment related matters.
Because of her background in Intellectual property matters, Jamina has been privileged to be appointed as a member on the Uganda Law Society Intellectual Property Cluster. She has also been involved in a number of legal framework and regulatory activities such as, the drafting and review of the Industrial Property Act, 2014, the Geographical Indications Act, 2013 and the proposed Trademark and Geographical Indications Regulations and the proposed review of the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act, 2006 to cover the Marrakesh and related treaties.
In 2017, Jamina was appointed as a moderator and Panelist for the first ever Law, Innovation and Technology Colloquium, the first of its kind in Uganda.
